Dancers can count to 8 in their sleep! So I thought...let's use an 8 count to remember some nutritional basics! Below is an infographic that was created as a fun, simple way to estimate general nutritional goals for each meal. The recommendations are based on a female dancer with a healthy BMI eating 5-6 meals a day. These are minimum values to consider. We are not aiming for perfection. We are striving for balanced meals that cover all of our essential nutrient requirements throughout the day. Each individual will vary.
