    I have spent my career researching how to support a dancer's longevity by focusing on health and proper training practices.


    Our dance teachers excel in their mastery of the art of dance, but there is only a select few that are scientists and understand the physiology and desired adaptations of a dancer's body.


    I have always looked at dance as both an art and a science.


    I have surveyed hundreds of dancers who tell a similar tale: chronic conditions have plagued their career, unhealthy eating patterns have damaged their metabolism, overtraining has lead to injury and illness, and the list goes on...


    I have been there. And I have studied all the science. I have worked with dancers in their injury care, prevention, and treatment. I have conducted studies, done my thorough research, and presented at international conferences. And I am dedicated to learning every single day!
